There are many benefits of local and regional networks, which have been well documented over the years:
Opportunities to network with other providers on issues that are important
The opportunity to send information and issues to government departments and to have meaningful discussion about the issues that affect us
The opportunity to collaborate on funding and working opportunities
The opportunity to access guidance and support from peer and training events
Network meetings with input and updates from key agencies
WYLP has worked hard to provide support and guidance for providers and to be the voice of skills and training. We believe that it is vital to the success of our sector that we have the opportunity to support deliverers and welcome the opportunity to invite colleagues in North Yorkshire to join us.

” NCFE has, for several years now, worked in partnership with regional networks to inform providers and provide support around the significant changes and subsequent effects of educational reform.
NCFE has delivered events including: updates on localised devolution, EPA best practice EPA and key information on the functional skills reform. We acknowledge the great need for regional togetherness at this time and local area insight is more vital now than ever.
In addition to working with the Northern Regional networks, we also sit on the board of the Northern Skills Network to help promote and provide wider reaching change across the North.”
